Contemporary Art Education Is.. Intstallation @ NAEA 2014
Inspired by the Art Is... FlashMob/Improv Installation by her students featured in the film above, Artist-Teacher Lovely Shanti Kelly performed a socially engaged site-specific work at the NAEA (National Art Education Association) Conference in San Diego March 28-30, 2014. After the event we created a cardboard installation that highlighted how our learning connected (via yarn strands) to various standards across mulitiple subject areas and the common core at the school, state and national level.
